
Steps to Enrollment:
Before the start of a course, there are a few steps that we require every student to take in order to ensure their success in our program. If you have any questions or concerns about your status in enrollment, feel free to reach out to us here.
Step 1: Ensure You Have The Correct Prerequisites
College course Prerequisites:
- Human Anatomy and Physiology I & lab (4 credits)
- Human Anatomy and Physiology II & lab (4 credits)
- Medical Terminology (3 credits)
- College Algebra or equivalent (3 credits)
- English Composition or equivalent (3 credits)
All prerequisite courses must be completed with a passing grade of 70% or higher.
A minimum average GPA of 2.5 is required for all higher education courses.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
You can begin your application by clicking the "apply now" button found either at the top or the bottom of this page. After that form is completed, you will receive an email with a link to fill out further information. Not all applicants are guaranteed a position in the program.
Step 3: Online Interview
Prior to acceptance, all students will go through an online interview with staff. This step ensures that all participants are qualified and prepared for the amount of dedication required for the completion of the program. Not all who are interviewed are guaranteed a position in the program.
Step 4: Submit Clinical Placement Requirements
Working in the medical field requires verification of certain vaccinations/immunizations. Exemptions may be applicable for some vaccinations. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza (if Flu Season, October through May)
- TB
- Tdap
- Varicella
- MMR
- Covid 19
Proof of medical insurance is required prior to the start of classes and must be maintained throughout the program.
